Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked chicken shredded or chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup pickle juice
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and pickle juice until smooth.
  2. Add shredded chicken, chopped pickles, cheddar cheese, red onion, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir until evenly coated.
  3. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Remember the pickles and cheese add salt, so go easy.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  5. Serve on croissants, sandwich bread, or lettuce wraps.
