Method
- Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika if using.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
- Place salmon skin-side down in the hot pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes without moving.
- Flip gently and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until cooked through and flaky.
- Remove from pan and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
- Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.
