Easy Protein Bagels with Greek Yogurt Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • everything bagel seasoning or toppings of choice optional
  • extra flour for dusting

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add Greek yogurt and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead gently until smooth, adding a little flour if too sticky.
  4. Divide dough into 4 equal portions.
  5. Roll each into a ball, then poke a hole in the center and shape into bagels.
  6. Place on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Brush tops with beaten egg and add desired toppings.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
