Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced (about 1 rotisserie chicken)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup finely diced celery
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh tarragon
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 cup toasted pecans roughly chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Add the shredded chicken, celery, red onion, tarragon, and dill. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
  3. Gently fold in the toasted pecans.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt, pepper, or lemon juice if needed.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  6. Serve chilled on croissants, lettuce cups, or with crackers.
