Tuna Salad Recipe for Quick Lunches

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans tuna 5 oz each, drained
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup celery finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons red onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley optional
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sweet relish or chopped pickles optional

Method
 

  1. Drain tuna thoroughly and transfer to a mixing bowl. Break into flakes with a fork.
  2. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Mix gently until combined.
  3. Fold in chopped celery, red onion, and optional parsley.
  4. Add sweet relish or pickles if using and mix lightly.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for about 20 minutes to allow flavors to develop.
  7. Stir gently before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Serve in sandwiches, wraps, or over greens.
